    I got the BURN message right abroad. I did put a picayune more cheese in than the recipe called for. Ultimately I dumped everything into a casserole dish and finished it in the oven. Next time I'll merely make a dish similar this in the oven or maybe crock pot.

    Doesn't work in the instant pot. The cheese keeps burning so the pressure wont lock because it keeps byrning

    This recipe is catchy to brand in the inner pot and must be followed precisely. I would add together goop and then start layer as recommend. You tin can too make this in an oven safe dish that fits in the inner pot.

    This was my commencement repast in the Instant Pot. I think more meat needs to exist added. There's really too much irish potato. Otherwise, it was good and easy.

    Didn't look like the picture equally I used a stake coloured Cheddar instead of the more than yellow version.

    Having an initial layer of potatoes causes the burn error to come up on my Duo 6 quart before pressure tin be achieved. Too agree that the cheese disappears and doesn't look like the motion picture. Removed from instant pot, added foam of cheddar soup and more than cheese and baked in oven.

    My first InstantPot failure every bit well. I kept getting the fire notice which I haven't gotten in i 1/2 years! I wound up putting it in the oven after the third fire detect. Mayhap if I brand this again I'll put the potatoes on the rack.

    Information technology burned even later on adding more beef stock. Ended upwards being a casserole; put it in the oven for 20-25 mins at 450 degrees and it turned out well. So 2 stars for the instant pot, four.v for the oven.

    I fabricated my version of this dish (allergy to peppers forces me to change every recipe) and it was absolutely succulent! Hubby even ate the leftovers cold on a bun, for his lunch.
    I didn't wash out my IP afterward cooking the beef and garlic. Instead of using broth, I used water and gravy mix. I topped the final layer with a can of cheddar cheese soup, and so cooked as directed. I immediately removed the inner liner to a cutting board and placed a chapeau on top to loosen the cheese from the lesser. Delicious!

    Only made it! Super like shooting fish in a barrel and quick. Family loved it. Even my super picky son came dorsum for seconds and wants to know when i'll brand it once more. It did not burn. Instapot briefly said 'food called-for' but as it reached pressure cooking temp simply it flashed on and off and all was good

    Wished I would take read the reviews prior to making. Pot went to burn twice and added 1 loving cup of beef broth. Removed from the pot and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 450. Very tasty merely disappointed.

    Its soup! I followed the instructions exactly, and it is soup and the lesser burned. There is so much "juice" in pot that i had to strain the food. Terrible recipe, beware .

    Nosotros cooked this receipe and it was really expert. It is a goulash mode dish and is a footling soup like if you lot add to much broth. I did have a fire outcome but upon inspection the culprit was the cheese, it sunk to the lesser and melted causing the burn. I recommend non calculation the cheese at all to the pot wait until it is done and add to plates individually. Other than that it was very practiced, leftovers were good to.

    2nd apply of Instant Pot. Urn mistake correct every bit it got to force per unit area. Dumped it in a basin, scrubbed burned cheese out, resprayed with not stick spray, restarted it…burn fault. And so irritated. I take spent two hours on this 15 min dish.

    I got the burn down notice. I had to finally take information technology out and bake in the oven. Gustatory modality was skilful only made a horrible mess in the bottom of the pot. I did follow the instructions exactly.

    WORST recipe ever! Followed the directions and i got the burn down warning. Added more liquid, burn warning, etc, etc. After calculation so much liquid that it turned to soup and nonetheless getting the burn message again, I gave up. My 15 minute recipe took over an hour to still exist an epic fail. Not the best "first experience" with instant pot.

    This recipe really need to be adjusted. The fourth dimension need to be increased. In my 6qt it took over 60 minutes for the potatoes to get washed. There needs to be more broth. In that location was also lillte broth that the pot barely made any steam pressure. I fix it as the instruction 15 minutes. Then another xv, then xx then some other 20 minutes. Finally it was edible. The meat need to be doubled and the seasons need to be reduced a little. It burnt all of the bottom layer of potatoes. This recipe needs some work.

    Bad recipe for the pot. Later on seeing reviews, I left some of the beef juices in and sprayed the heck out of the liner. Also only put one layer of cheese on the top. Even so got the burn fault.

    smells great, merely freaken 1st layer of potatoes burnt to bottom and pot kept saying food burn down, and then just put information technology in oven. Volition give information technology i more adventure and if it screws upwardly its going back

    Second time I've made a recipe from this app and gotten the burn notice. Followed all the directions both times. When this was finally washed, the cheese had virtually disappeared, and we were left with slightly cheesy beef and potatoes. Not appetizing either visually or taste-wise. Should have had onions and optionally mushrooms for the extra season. Non sure what could be washed about the cheese though. Definitely buy extra and put some on top.

    Made this exactly as instructions said. Wish I had read the reviews first. Got the food burn notice earlier information technology even got up to pressure. It stuck horribly and I ended up putting information technology in a casserole and in the oven.
    Really disappointed. I thought I'd make a quick dinner. Instead it volition accept me forever to get the Instapot clean. This is just my second time using my new Instapot. If the inner pot doesn't come clean I will be contacting them.
    Does anyone at Instapot examination the recipies ????

    Horrible!! Followed instructions exactly and got burn discover too- potatoes were raw. Tried to restart and kept getting fire detect. Threw it in the oven. Maybe Information technology'll turn out into something edible, who knows.
    Does NO ONE test these recipes??

    I followed the recipe exactly and got the burn down find pretty much as shortly equally it reached full pressure. Turned information technology off correct abroad; information technology was salvageable. Served it with actress cheese on the side, as all the cheese had melted away. Decent recipe, just perhaps non for the InstantPot.

Little fleck too much seasoning for my taste, probably doesn't assistance i didn't have any paprika and then i used mild chilli powder instead . Good luck

    Loved this easy quick recipe. Just don't forget to spray the pot before starting to layer or it will continuously tell you it'southward burning. I added a bag of frozen peas and carrots the second time I fabricated it and it was delicious.

    Sprayed the pot with cooking spray before I made this recipe and it worked perfectly. Made it with venison, it was a little soupy but potatoes were soft and tasty!

    This was a hit in our home. I added 1 onion and fresh garlic while the browning my meat. Also cut upwards in chunks one/3 of a cake of cream cheese. Layered the same as the sprinkled cheese. Very hearty!

    I read the reviews and did all recommendations, including hosing the pot down with pam spray. All the same got the burn notice. I was really hoping I would be one of the lucky ones. When i decided to transfer to oven to salvage frustration it was very soupy. But it thickened upward in the oven and tasted pretty proficient. I would practice this once again merely not in the instant pot.

    Practiced flavor – would cutting downwardly on rosemary – if not eliminate it entirely. I used a mandolin to slice potatoes thinner than ane inch while I did get burn notice potatoes just took another v minutes b4 warning displayed once again – I have Duo Evo Plus viii qt and did not change the recipe by much -may try on low next time v high. While information technology seemed the little soupy at first the potatoes quickly soaked upwards extra juices.

    Aye, my first failure with the Instantpot. It tasted fine but I kept getting burn down notices. I think I will try information technology again using the trivet and and so the potatoes. It burned the bottom of the pot and I just took the top off and put it on sautee until it was washed.

    This recipe came out nifty! Lots of flavour. Added sour foam. While I did get the burn error at kickoff, it did go away afterwards pre-heating was done. I sprayed the bottom alot and it helped. I volition most definitely make this again.

    Doused the bottom with bake easy no stick spray in a non stick liner. I cut the potatoes a piddling thicker so they would not burn down. No burn down detect and it came out great!

    My family unit and the family i work for loves this recipe. I saw some reviews saying it burns. Ive never had that event. You have to remove the meat. Pour in some goop and then proceed equally the directions say.

    I sprayed the mess out of the pot with nonstick spray and even put the meat every bit the bottom layer; but the burn down notice game was strong. I took information technology out, scraped the lesser of the pot and put information technology back in with more broth merely to get another fire discover. Luckily enough pressure was able to build before both notices that it cooked it. The final event was done, but soupy. It was pretty good considering. Great idea, horrible execution. I will accept to play with it to go information technology right.
    **Tip to clean the Burn down Find pot**
    Put a sparse layer of h2o in the pot and plough it to sauté. When the water starts to boil, employ a apartment caput spatula to scrape off the burnt on stuff! The boiling water will aid it come right off!
